Part international Negroni festival, part fundraiser, Negroni Week is a week long celebration of one of the world’s iconic cocktails—the Negroni—that happens every year.
Launched in 2013 as a collaboration between Imbibe Magazine and Campari, it has become one of the cocktail world’s most beloved philanthropic events, raising money for charities around the world.
To date, Negroni Week has raised millions of dollars from over 12,000 participating venues around the world.
Participating bars and restaurants sign up at negroniweek.com and chooses from a list of official charities that has partnered with Negroni Week. Then, for one week every June, proceeds from the sales of negronis at that participating venue is donated to their selected charity.
There’s even a charity bicycle ride that occurs through several cities across the United States. Founded by bartending industry veteran Tony Abou-Ganim, riders participate as part of Team Negroni to raise funds and awareness for the Helen David Relief Fund and the USBG National Charity Foundation.
The week changes from year to year, so be sure to check the official event website each year.
Negroni Week is typically celebrated worldwide.
